UFCW 951 Members at Meijer Receive New Childcare Subsidy

All active UFCW 951 members at Meijer are eligible from day one of their employment for subsidized childcare or adult care. With more than 1,070 locations across the country, support and peace of mind for working families is at the core of this new subsidy.
This new benefit can be used in one of two ways:
Option 1: Reimbursement
· Meijer members can request reimbursement of 10% of their care expenses each month.
- Full-time members are eligible for up to $100 per month per person they care for, and part-time members are eligible for up to $50 per month per person.
- Reimbursement may be requested for children up to age 12, dependents with disabilities (including adults), and elderly family members.
· Members will use the care benefits microsite to submit their receipts and receive reimbursement in their paycheck within two weeks.
Option 2: Learning Care Group discount
· Members can enroll their child(ren) in a Learning Care Group location and receive a 20% discount on their tuition.
· Members can also get to move to the top of any Learning Care group waiting lists.
· To enroll: call the care concierge at 866-460-3798 and tell them you work for Meijer. The concierge will find your local Learning Care Group options & walk you through the next steps.
